Last October 10, 2025, Ligas KBP Foundation Inc. organized a two-session Lakbay Aral for the day care pupils of Barangay Ligas. The activity aimed to provide a fun and educational experience that introduced young learners to the wonders of nature and the value of farming. During the visit, the children enjoyed a hands-on tour around the LKBP Farm, where they had the chance to plant their own seeds and feed chickens and ducks. Their curiosity and excitement filled the air as they learned how plants grow and how life flourishes on a farm. They also explored the lettuce area, where they were able to see, touch, and even taste freshly harvested greens. This immersive experience not only made learning enjoyable but also nurtured their appreciation for agriculture and sustainability, a small yet meaningful step toward inspiring the next generation of nature advocates.

LKBP Members Recruitment, Sales Coaching and Workshop

From September 15 to 18, LKBP, in partnership with NATCCO, held a comprehensive four-day workshop on membership recruitment and sales management at Casa Doña Anita, Ligas Malolos City. The event was facilitated by Ms. Bernadette Dacanay and Ms. Lady Portus from NATCCO, and was designed not only to enhance organizational effectiveness, but to invest in the professional development of each employee. Over two days, participants engaged in in-depth discussions on strategies, best practices, and theoretical foundations, exploring topics such as member recruitment, lead generation, prospecting, segmenting, sales conversion techniques, and the role of effective communication in membership growth. These theoretical sessions laid a strong foundation for the subsequent two days of field work, during which employees applied what they had learned through hands-on activities, real-world assignments, and simulated member interaction scenarios. The workshop provided a range of benefits: improved clarity in sales and membership goals; strengthened ability to engage members meaningfully; enhanced confidence among staff in addressing objections and closing membership sales; and a shared understanding of the pathways for follow-up and sustaining relationships. It also fostered a culture of continuous learning, highlighting the importance of ongoing feedback, performance tracking, and reinforcing the behaviours needed for lasting improvements. Participants left the workshop not only with new knowledge, but with concrete ideas for future projects and initiatives, especially those aimed at deepening member relationships and expanding LKBP’s reach. Above all, the event reinforced LKBP’s commitment to empowering its workforce, recognizing that the growth of the organization is intimately tied to the growth of its people.
LKBP Joins Singkaban Festival 2025

On September 8, 2025, LKBP joined the vibrant Singakaban Festival 2025 in Malolos, Bulacan. Celebrated as the Mother of All Fiestas, the Singkaban Festival showcases the rich art, culture, and history of Bulacan. The early afternoon was graced with clear skies as a variety of eye-catching floats from different companies and organizations assembled at Malolos Cathedral. The parade began at 4:00 PM. Though a sudden rainfall briefly swept over the celebration, it was seen as a blessing rather than a setback. Despite the downpour, the energy remained high, with festive spirits and bright smiles. LKBP representatives actively took part by handing out flyers, candies, and giveaways to the enthusiastic crowd. Through its participation, LKBP strengthens its commitment to supporting and promoting Filipino culture and heritage by engaging in meaningful community events like the Singkaban Festival.

A lively motorcade and street marketing were organized to celebrate the 21st anniversary of LKBP Tuktukan Branch, bringing energy and excitement to the local community. The event was filled with festive spirit as the cooperative proudly celebrated over two decades of service, trust, and strong partnership with its members. To make the occasion even more special, a variety of special promos and exciting giveaways were prepared for the members. Among the anniversary highlights were free LKBP t-shirts and free AKSI Accident Insurance for qualified members. These efforts were designed not only to celebrate the milestone but also to express sincere appreciation for the unwavering support of LKBP’s amazing members and the wider community.
