Ligas KBP Foundation Inc. Conducts Lakbay Aral for Day Care Pupils of Barangay Ligas

Last October 10, 2025, Ligas KBP Foundation Inc. organized a two-session Lakbay Aral for the day care pupils of Barangay Ligas. The activity aimed to provide a fun and educational experience that introduced young learners to the wonders of nature and the value of farming. During the visit, the children enjoyed a hands-on tour around the LKBP Farm, where they had the chance to plant their own seeds and feed chickens and ducks. Their curiosity and excitement filled the air as they learned how plants grow and how life flourishes on a farm. They also explored the lettuce area, where they were able to see, touch, and even taste freshly harvested greens. This immersive experience not only made learning enjoyable but also nurtured their appreciation for agriculture and sustainability, a small yet meaningful step toward inspiring the next generation of nature advocates.

LKBP Joins the 27th Halamanan Festival

On January 18, 2025, LKBP proudly participated in the vibrant celebration of the 27th Halamanan Festival in Guiguinto, Bulacan, an annual event that highlights the municipality’s rich cultural heritage and its reputation as the “Garden Capital of the Philippines.” As part of the festivities, LKBP took part in the Parada ng Karosa, one of the festival’s main highlights. While waiting for the grand display of dancers and floats to pass along the parade route, LKBP representatives actively engaged with the crowd by distributing flyers and giveaways. This outreach activity allowed the cooperative to connect with the local community, raise awareness about its programs and services, and demonstrate its commitment to supporting cultural events. LKBP also participated in the Halamanan Booth that offers a Clinic and Laboratory Services discount coupon promo, which took place until January 23, 2025. Although the booth event has ended, the promo redemption period runs until February 28, 2025, giving claimants ample time to redeem their discounts.
LKBP joins in Koop Family Day

LKBP joined the City of Malolos Koop Family Day, an event organized by the City Government of Malolos in collaboration with CTECO and CMCDC. This gathering took place at the Barangay Covered Court in Brgy. Mojon, City of Malolos, Bulacan. CTECO and CMCDC arranged 11 parlor games and an impromptu Zumba Dance Contest for the cooperatives to participate in. These activities were crafted to promote unity among the cooperatives, uniting them as a small-brother and big-brother. Despite their differences, the various cooperatives came together to play and enjoy the day as one. Certainly, the event truly highlights its theme, which is “Nagkakaisang Kooperatiba. Tungo sa pag-unlad ng Ekonomiya†After the games, a raffle was held for the attendees, and the event concluded with a heartfelt closing thank-you speech.
LKBP, represents Bulacan in Kooplympics

LKBP and other cooperatives in Bulacan teamed up to represent their province in the CDA 10th Regional Kooplympics, an event organized by CDA Region 3. This event brought together cooperatives from Bulacan and surrounding areas, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere at the San Jose Del Monte Sports Complex. The day began with a lively parade at 8:00 AM, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the cauldron at 8:30 AM. The CDA also organized fun games and raffles to ensure a memorable experience for all cooperatives.
