LKBP Livelihood Training- “Onion Growing”

On November 3, 2021 Ligas KBP Foundation, Inc. and Ligas Kooperatiba ng Bayan sa Pagpapaunlad through worthwhile support from the Provincial Agriculture Office of Bulacan successfully conducted a Livelihood Seminar on Onion Growing for the benefit of members and patrons as well as public participants. With the objective of providing a means of livelihood, Onion Growing could serve as source of family living and personal consumption. Due to limitation brought by the pandemic situation, the seminar was conducted on a limited face-to-face set-up for 10 participants at LKBP ARC Training Center and through Facebook live streaming participated by 194 group viewers from LKBP branches. Among them were 127 members and 77 non-members consisted of 91 male and 113 female participants. It reached out 819 people, 383 live views, 22 shares and 448 engagements. Resource speaker was Mr. Edward Alibuyog, Jr., the Territory Sales Representative in Nueva Ecija and Nueva Vizcaya of Ramgo International Corporation together with Mr. Jocris Bernardo, Demand Creation Specialist. The event was graced by Bulacan Provincial Agriculturists, Ms. Carmela Bandola and Ms. Judith Mateo, with Mr. Raymart Santiago.
LKBP Wins the NKLM 2021

LKBP won first place from the recently concluded Awarding Ceremony of the City of Malolos Cooperative Development Council (CMCDC) for the Natatanging Kooperatiba sa Lungsod ng Malolos (NKLM) held last October 29, 2021 at the Malolos City Hall Auditorium. The CMCDC Awarding Ceremony for Tiktok Contest and Natatanging Kooperatiba sa Lungsod ng Malolos was also participated by other primary cooperatives in Malolos, Bulacan. CMCDC recognizes Cooperatives in Malolos who continue assisting their members and the community during the pandemic. LKBP CEO, Ms. Julita Nazar and the LKBP BOD Chairperson, Ms. Lucila Punongbayan, and Vice-Chairperson, Ms. Loida Hilario received the Certificate of Recognition.
LKBP JOINS THE CELEBRATION OF COOPERATIVE MONTH 2021

Ligas Kooperatiba ng Bayan sa Pagpapaunlad (LKBP) joins all the Cooperative in Bulacan in celebrating the Cooperative Month with the theme, “Kooperatibang Matatag: Tumutugon sa mga Hamon, Daan sa Pagbangon, Nagbibigay Pag-asa sa Makabagong Panahon” last October 1, 2021. The Provincial Development Cooperative Council-Bulacan led the Virtual Cooperative Month celebration. Different virtual activities were participated by Cooperative Unions, Federations, and primary cooperatives in Bulacan. Also, CDA Region 3 Director, Cristina H. Villamil joined the opening program and shared her gratitude to Bulacan for actively participating in the opening ceremony of the National Cooperative Month.
