
Ligas KBP Foundation Inc. Conducts Lakbay Aral for Day Care Pupils of Barangay Ligas

Last October 10, 2025, Ligas KBP Foundation Inc. organized a two-session Lakbay Aral for the day care pupils of Barangay Ligas. The activity aimed to provide a fun and educational experience that introduced young learners to the wonders of nature and the value of farming. During the visit, the children enjoyed a hands-on tour around the LKBP Farm, where they had the chance to plant their own seeds and feed chickens and ducks. Their curiosity and excitement filled the air as they learned how plants grow and how life flourishes on a farm. They also explored the lettuce area, where they were able to see, touch, and even taste freshly harvested greens. This immersive experience not only made learning enjoyable but also nurtured their appreciation for agriculture and sustainability, a small yet meaningful step toward inspiring the next generation of nature advocates.

LKBP Foundation Activity at Plaridel, Bulacan and Gapan, Nueva Ecija

An engaging and insightful seminar on cooperatives was held in Gapan, Nueva Ecija and Plaridel, Bulacan, offering valuable discussions. This activity highlighted the power of women coming together to build a stronger, more sustainable future. This initiative aimed to reinforce LKBP’s commitment to supporting women and the broader community in fostering a compassionate and resilient society. The event concluded with the distribution of small tokens of appreciation to the participants.

LKBP Newly Elected Set of Officers Oath-Taking Ceremony 2025

A new set of LKBP Cooperative Officers for the term 2025–2027 officially took their oath of office on March 28, 2025, at Hap Chan, Tikay, Malolos. The oath-taking ceremony was officiated by Ms. Marieta P. Hwang, Regional Director of the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) Region III. This event marks the beginning of a renewed chapter for LKBP, one that promises greater collaboration, innovation, and progress toward a more empowered and sustainable future for the cooperative. Leading the newly elected officers is Atty. Jeffrey T. Melo as Chairperson, with Mrs. Loida D. Hilario serving as Vice-Chairperson. The elected Board Members include Mr. Wilfredo F. Enriquez, Mrs. Perla B. Laxa, Engr. Menandro E. Mendoza, Mrs. Cecilia C. Reyes, and Atty. Regine Juliene G. Roque. Alongside them are newly appointed officers and committee members who are all poised to help steer the cooperative toward continued growth and success.
