Ligas KBP Foundation Inc. Conducts Lakbay Aral for Day Care Pupils of Barangay Ligas

Last October 10, 2025, Ligas KBP Foundation Inc. organized a two-session Lakbay Aral for the day care pupils of Barangay Ligas. The activity aimed to provide a fun and educational experience that introduced young learners to the wonders of nature and the value of farming. During the visit, the children enjoyed a hands-on tour around the LKBP Farm, where they had the chance to plant their own seeds and feed chickens and ducks. Their curiosity and excitement filled the air as they learned how plants grow and how life flourishes on a farm. They also explored the lettuce area, where they were able to see, touch, and even taste freshly harvested greens. This immersive experience not only made learning enjoyable but also nurtured their appreciation for agriculture and sustainability, a small yet meaningful step toward inspiring the next generation of nature advocates.

To continuously improve the lives of the members and the community, Ligas KBP Foundation Inc. successfully conducted a Livelihood Training Program at Brgy. Balut, Orani Bataan, focused on Spanish sardine making, equipping participants with practical skills and opening new opportunities for income generation. The training brought together members from various local cooperatives, including the Orani Peninsula Producer Cooperative, Orani Bataan Fishermen Cooperative, and Owdee Multi-Purpose Cooperative, along with interested residents. This collaborative learning environment fostered community engagement and economic empowerment through hands-on experience in food processing. LKBP aims to enhance the self-sufficiency of its members and support their journey toward improved financial well-being that leads to building resilient and empowered communities.
LKBP Marketing Unit and Member-Entrepreneurs Attend DTI Seminar on Social Media Marketing & Management

On May 27, 2025, LKBP, proudly participated in the DTI Seminar on Social Media Marketing & Management held in Malolos Resort Club Royale Hotel and Restaurant. The cooperative’s representative was Ms. Dharen Cleofas from the marketing team, joined by three of LKBP’s member-entrepreneurs: Ma’am Arlene Apacible of Sweet Treats by Arlene, Ma’am Ria Sacdalan of Del Rias, and Sir Mharco Medina of Medtech by Boss Mharco. This initiative underscores LKBP’s commitment to supporting its members through continuous learning and business development opportunities. The seminar, led by the esteemed Mr. Jerry Yao, also known as “The Marketing Sensei PH,” provided valuable insights into the evolving world of marketing. Participants gained practical knowledge on the importance of social media marketing and management, as well as innovative strategies to stay competitive in today’s fast-paced digital landscape. This learning experience serves as an important step in empowering local entrepreneurs to grow their businesses and adapt to modern market trends, further reinforcing LKBP’s mission to uplift and support its members in every aspect of their entrepreneurial journey.

To foster stronger unity and enhance service to members and the community, the LKBP family strengthened their bonds through a two-day Team Building activity held from May 20 to May 21, 2025. The team ventured into the heart of nature at Shercon Resort and Ecology Park in Mataas na Kahoy, Batangas. With the theme “Into the Wild: Strength in Unity,” participants embraced outdoor challenges that tested survival instincts, deepened trust, and promoted teamwork. From obstacle courses to shared laughter beneath the trees, each experience served as a powerful reminder that unity is LKBP’s greatest strength. More than just a team-building event, it was a meaningful journey of rediscovery, resilience, and connection.
