Ligas KBP Foundation Inc. Conducts Lakbay Aral for Day Care Pupils of Barangay Ligas

Last October 10, 2025, Ligas KBP Foundation Inc. organized a two-session Lakbay Aral for the day care pupils of Barangay Ligas. The activity aimed to provide a fun and educational experience that introduced young learners to the wonders of nature and the value of farming. During the visit, the children enjoyed a hands-on tour around the LKBP Farm, where they had the chance to plant their own seeds and feed chickens and ducks. Their curiosity and excitement filled the air as they learned how plants grow and how life flourishes on a farm. They also explored the lettuce area, where they were able to see, touch, and even taste freshly harvested greens. This immersive experience not only made learning enjoyable but also nurtured their appreciation for agriculture and sustainability, a small yet meaningful step toward inspiring the next generation of nature advocates.

LKBP Joins Bulacan’s Cooperative Month Celebration 2023

In support to the opening of 2023 Cooperative Month Celebration in Bulacan facilitated by the Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office, LKBP joined the Cooperative Parade on September 27, 2023 together with other micro, small, medium, and large cooperatives as well as local government units. The parade started at 6:30 AM from Malolos Convention Center going to Bulacan Capitol Gym followed by a Kick-Off Ceremony represented by highly respectable officials in the cooperative sector with a signing of Cooperative Multi-Stakeholders and Enablers Covenant, launching of Go Koop Initiatives through AVP empowering cooperatives, presentation of Credit Surety Fund, and awarding of project from different development partners.
LKBP Bookkeepers Attends seminar on Standard Chart of Accounts

As part of the goal of LKBP to provide professional growth to its employees, LKBP sent out all bookkeepers to attend the 1-day seminar on the Standard Chart of Accounts and Taxation conducted by the Bulacan Federation of Cooperatives held at Club Royale Malolos last August 29, 2023. The seminar aims to provide updates to all Cooperative Bookkeepers on the importance of recording and organizing accounts and setting standards and discipline to measure financial safety and enhance transparency in the business. Yolanda S. Rotap, a Certified Public Accountant and an accredited external auditor of BIR and CDA facilitated the seminar.

Through the partnership of ECPAY and LKBP, all members can now pay or settle their loan and send funds to their LKBP Account via Gcash. Moreover, members have the option to deposit funds either to their savings or share capital accounts. Charges will also apply per transaction.
