
Ligas KBP Foundation Inc. Conducts Lakbay Aral for Day Care Pupils of Barangay Ligas

Last October 10, 2025, Ligas KBP Foundation Inc. organized a two-session Lakbay Aral for the day care pupils of Barangay Ligas. The activity aimed to provide a fun and educational experience that introduced young learners to the wonders of nature and the value of farming. During the visit, the children enjoyed a hands-on tour around the LKBP Farm, where they had the chance to plant their own seeds and feed chickens and ducks. Their curiosity and excitement filled the air as they learned how plants grow and how life flourishes on a farm. They also explored the lettuce area, where they were able to see, touch, and even taste freshly harvested greens. This immersive experience not only made learning enjoyable but also nurtured their appreciation for agriculture and sustainability, a small yet meaningful step toward inspiring the next generation of nature advocates.

LKBP Livelihood Program: The Art of Making Tocino and Longganisa

LKBP successfully launched its first livelihood program of the year with a hands-on training on tocino and longganisa making, held in LKBP Garden Parking last February 26, 2025. The program was specially organized for solo parents, providing them with practical skills that can be used for additional income or potential small business opportunities. By focusing on solo parents, particularly women, this program showcased LKBP’s strong commitment to inclusive development and community support. LKBP continues to strengthen its role as the bridge for positive change and livelihood empowerment through livelihood programs within the communities it serves.

LKBP Conducts Series of Foundation Activities Across Different Provinces

As part of its unwavering commitment to social responsibility and community development, LKBP successfully conducted a series of outreach activities across different locations in Luzon from January 28 to 31, 2025. These initiatives aimed to provide immediate relief and lasting impact to various sectors of the community through rice-giving programs and meaningful engagement. The series began in San Miguel, Bulacan on January 28, 2025, where indigent residents gathered for an informative presentation followed by a rice distribution activity. This event was designed to offer both awareness and immediate support to selected beneficiaries. On January 30, the outreach continued in Balanga, Bataan, in partnership with Bahay Puso and Bataan General Hospital and Medical Center, where LKBP conducted a heartfelt program for the elderly and dialysis patients. The initiative focused on sharing care, compassion, and joy, leaving a memorable and positive impact on the lives of the senior members of the community. A rice-giving activity was also held as a form of tangible support and appreciation for their strength and resilience. The outreach series concluded on January 31 in Brgy. San Jose Matulid, Mexico, Pampanga, where indigent residents participated in the Cooperative Community Program.

LKBP MICROGAS 2nd Anniversary

To celebrate the anniversary of the LKBP Microgas Station, a special promotional campaign was launched to give back to its valued customers. From January 1 to March 31, 2025, customers received one liter of any petrol product for free upon collecting 20 stamps. The promotion was a great success, with many customers participating enthusiastically, some even returning to claim the reward up to four times. This initiative served as LKBP’s way of expressing sincere gratitude to its customers and the community for their continued support of the microgas station.
